The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Come to The Network Drama Team's upcoming performance where spelling and entertainment collide! The adapted the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee show will be performed Friday, March 2nd and Saturday, March 3rd at 7 p.m. for both nights at Oakwood United Methodist Church at 400 NE 56th Street in Pleasant Hill.

Peek into the lives of seven quirky middle-schoolers and family members as competition heats up. One fun twist to this event includes choosing audience members to join in the drama fun each evening. We have students participating from all over the Des Moines area including: West Des Moines, Urbandale, Windsor Heights, Des Moines, Altoona, and Perry.

Tickets will be available at the door: $6 for adults, $3 for students K-12, and free for children 4 and under.

Participating drama students gain a wide-range of hands-on experiences on the stage including character development, costume and set design, and voice work with this event. The Network Drama Team is part of The Network, a not-for profit organization offering homeschooling instruction in a Christ-Centered environment.
