HOME SCHOOL SAFARI HAS RETURNED FOR 2018-2019!
Mark your calendars for another exciting year of Blank Park Zoo’s Home School Safari classes.
Explore the world of science through animals and nature. Join us for monthly hands-on,
minds-on science including exciting activities, demos and more. Monthly sessions will frequently include touring the zoo, visiting with animal ambassadors, and experiencing other unique resources all while building science knowledge. What’s not to love: science, animals and nature!
HOME SCHOOL CLASS DETAILS:
Home School Safari is a drop-off program with classes held from 1:30 pm - 3:45 pm on the second Friday of every month. The 2018-2019 season starts in October 2018 and continues through April 2019. Classes are organized in developmental age groups and are taught concurrently: 5-6 year olds, 7-9 year olds, and 10 - 12 year olds.
Please ensure your child is signed-up for the proper developmental age group by using your child’s age as of October 1, 2018. Your child will stay in this age group for the entirety of the 2018-2019 Home School Safari season.
Registration and pre-payment are required.
Cost per class per participant: $12.80 for members / $16 for non-members
