Inviting trails, ponds, streams, trees, and prairies make the Brenton Arboretum one of the best outdoor classrooms in central Iowa.
At the Brenton Arboretum open house for homeschool families, you'll find a packet of self-guided learning activities waiting for you at the Welcome Kiosk or you may stop in at the Administration building to see the Vista Room and library, use the restroom, and pick up a packet.
Do as much or as little as you'd like as you explore the arboretum at your own pace.
Pre-registration helps us plan materials, but is not required!
