Please note these important details about our graduation:

  • Homeschool Iowa does not certify the diplomas awarded.

  • A printed diploma with case, graduation gown, cap, and tassel are part of the ceremony, and these items are ordered directly from our supplier, using a link provided in our graduation registration.

  • Graduates may wear cap &/or gowns from previous Homeschool Iowa Graduation services. 

  • The service is designed to allow each graduate to receive from his/her parents a provided diploma while our narrators read special comments submitted by the graduate's parents.

  • The Homeschool Iowa Board reserves the right to accept or reject any applicant for participation.

Homeschool Iowa  Graduation PARTICIPANTS Must:

  • Be a child in a family with a Homeschool Iowa membership that is active for the year of graduation service participation. Note: Membership can be obtained on the graduation registration.

  • Verify that the participant has been homeschooled for at least one full year of high school and has met his/her homeschool's graduation requirements.

  • Confirm that the participant believes in Christ for his/her salvation or has received Christian training,

  • Complete the graduation registration form and the separate graduation supply order form with payment by the registration deadline.

  • Submit additional program and ceremony items as requested by the graduation committee.

  • Agree to attend the graduation rehearsal on the day of the graduation service.
  • Agree to adhere to outlined appearance and deportment standards
GRADUATION PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO RECORDING
Please note that photos will be taken and a video will be recorded at the Homeschool Iowa Graduation. Homeschool Iowa reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event sponsored by Homeschool Iowa, without the expressed permission of those included within the photograph/video. Homeschool Iowa does not provide compensation or royalties in conjunction with publication or use of these images and videos. Homeschool Iowa does not offer the opportunity to inspect or approve the use of an image or video prior to our publication of any photo, video, or audio recording taken by Homeschool Iowa or those designated by Homeschool Iowa to do so. .Homeschool Iowa may use the photograph/video in publication or other media material produced, used, or contracted by Homeschool Iowa, including, but not limited to: brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, television, websites, etc. Graduates are presented with offers on the graduation registration form to purchase photos and/or videos taken by our photographer and videographer.
