STEP #3:
STUDY YOUR CHILD
Every child is different!
What is Your Child's Grade Level?
Wait! This is a trick question!
You see, homeschooled children are often working at several different grade levels, in several different subjects, at any one time -- that's the beauty of home education! So don't get stressed out here!
Here are tips for different grade levels:
What is Your Child's Learning Style?
Children will often have a particular way they learn best.
Although some utilize all three of these styles,
most will tend toward one dominant style.
Try to design your child's educational program
with learning styles in mind.
Visual Learners
Auditory Learners
Auditory learners learn best using audio recordings, verbal instructions, and listening to someone reading aloud.
Read/Write Learners
Read/Write learners learn best with information presented in a written format and by writing notes.
Kinesthetic Learners
Kinesthetic learners learn best with manipulatives, hand-on projects, games, and lots of examples.
