The 2021 Homeschool
Iowa Conference is
M
oving!
Less than six weeks before our 2021 Conference dates,
we received the unfortunate news that, due to unforeseen
construction delays, our contracted facility would not be
completed in time for our conference. Of course, we were
unsettled, but, through God’s amazing provision, another
great venue has been secured as a replacement.
We are thankful to announce that Grand View Univer-
sity in Des Moines will be our new conference location.
The campus is beautiful and its wonderful staff members
have been working with us to make our conference there
a complete success.
What has changed:
Only our location!
Grand View University is about 15 miles northeast of the
Mid American Energy RecPlex.
If you made a hotel reservation near that venue, you
may want to want to consider a closer hotel, but it’s cer-
tainly not mandatory!
What has NOT changed:
Everything else!
Our 2021 Conference at Grand View will still include:
• the same amazing speaker lineup
• all of the originally planned workshops
• spacious facilities with room to spread out
• our Conference Exhibit Hall for hands-on shopping
• our Special Tracks for Beginning Homeschooling,
Special Needs, and High School & Beyond
• the Couples’ Dinner and the Brunch & Learn session
• the same great Teen Track workshop lineup
• our outstanding KIDS TREK children’s program,
relocated nearby
• the Used Curriculum Sale on Thursday afternoon
• no mask requirements.
