[email protected]Dawn quips, “I’ve been homeschooling forever, it seems!” Her cheer-
ful, helpful attitude has been evident as she has served as a local
homeschool support group leader and supervising teacher. She and
her husband Rick are retired NICHE board members and Homeschool
Iowa Conference teammembers, have been married for 26 years, and
have four children and three grandchildren.

Krista Woodard

[email protected]Krista has officially retired as a homeschooling mom and now serves
as the children’s librarian in her local public library. Nevertheless, she
continues to serve homeschooling families in her area, encouraging
new homeschoolers, networking current homeschoolers, and pro-
viding services, especially through her work at the library. Married
for 22 years, she and her husband Rick have three children and two
grandchildren.

Jennifer Miller |
[email protected]Jennifer has been homeschooling since 2000, and she’s partici-
pated in independent local homeschool support groups, both
large and small. Jen has a good working knowledge of various
homeschooling approaches (Charlotte Mason, classical, etc.)
and their corresponding resources. Jennifer and her husband
Luke have been married for 24 years and have five children,
three of whom have graduated.

Lisa Chase

[email protected]Lisa has been married to Marty for 30 years, and they have been blessed with three
grown children, who they have homeschooled all the way through high school – and
they intend, God willing, to do the same for their 9-year-old. Lisa is the leader of the
local homeschool co-op in her area and is ready to lend an ear and a helping hand to
any homeschooling families who need support or encouragement in southeast Iowa.
